About Us

In 2003, practice managers with the goal of creating successful dermatology practices founded the Dermatology Managers Association of Georgia (DMA/GA). As the association expanded, its annual meetings began attracting attendees from many states, prompting a rebranding to Dermatology Managers Association (DMA).

Purpose

DMA aims to advance the skills of Dermatology practice managers by offering ongoing education, innovative business strategies, and networking opportunities. With its expansion, these benefits now extend to Aesthetic practice managers, along with ongoing learning paths for all staff members in Dermatology and Aesthetic settings.

Conferences

The Annual Conferences provide valuable opportunities for learning, networking, and establishing connections with peer practices and various sponsors. The conference features three educational tracks running concurrently for a day and a half:

  • Managers Track: Specifically designed for Managers, Administrators, Providers, and Key Personnel
  • Aesthetic Track: Customized for Laser Practitioners, Aestheticians, Cosmetic Care Coordinators, and Aesthetic Staff Members
  • Office Track: Tailored for Front and Back Office staff, including Insurance and Billing Departments

The primary goals are to enhance the success of both managers and staff. This event serves as a platform for sharing knowledge and addressing real challenges in Dermatology and Aesthetic practices. Attendees can earn continuing education units and laser practitioner certificates through programs led by industry experts and renowned speakers.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors also functions as the officers of the organization. The support of numerous volunteers is essential in the successful execution of all plans for our Annual Conferences to achieve DMA's goals. Operating as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, DMA schedules meetings according to its members' requests and needs.
